Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how subscription charges, cancellations, and refund requests are handled for Alignear.

Scope

This policy applies to paid Alignear subscriptions purchased through our authorized payment providers.

Billing model

  • Alignear subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on your selected plan).
  • Plan pricing and packaging may change over time with notice.
  • Charges are processed by third-party payment processors.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings or by contacting support.
  • After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • Unless required by law, cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the already billed period.

Refund eligibility

Refunds may be considered in limited cases, including:

  • duplicate charges
  • clearly erroneous charges
  • technical billing failures caused by our systems

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • partial use of a billing period
  • unused seats or features
  • changes in usage needs after a charge has been processed

Trial and open testing considerations

During open testing phases, plan structure and feature packaging may evolve. Unless expressly stated otherwise at purchase, paid charges remain subject to this Refund Policy.

Requesting a refund

To request a refund, contact [email protected] and include:

  • account email and organization name
  • transaction date and amount
  • invoice or charge reference
  • brief reason for the request

We review requests in good faith and typically respond within a reasonable business timeframe.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized, contact us first so we can investigate quickly. Initiating a chargeback may result in temporary account restrictions while the dispute is reviewed.

Taxes and fees

Refunds, when approved, generally exclude non-refundable taxes or fees unless required by law.

Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions are effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
